Why should I consider a Fully Managed IT Support Service?
Having a Fully Managed Service means '‘peace of mind', particularly if your business relies on its IT infrastructure for the day-to-day operations. With a managed service we take a much more proactive approach to supporting your IT infrastructure. As part of the service we would provide a regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly maintenance visit to ensure your IT systems are kept in good working order. You will also benefit from guaranteed response times and a service level agreement.
How beneficial is a regular on-site visit?
Carrying out preventative maintenance on a regular basis will ensure that your organisation's computer systems are running at their optimum performance. We can also advise you on any potential problems that we discover, and act on them immediately.
What would a regular visit include?
Your regular visit would include, but is not limited to, the following:
• Installation of Microsoft critical updates and security patches
• Monitoring of anti-virus to ensure it is up-to-date and functioning efficiently
• Testing of the integrity of the backup system
• Resolution of any on-going IT issues that arise during that month
• General maintenance/housekeeping tasks
What other packages do you provide apart from the Fully Managed Service?
We offer two other packages: hourly block packages and an ad-hoc service.
What is your Hourly Block package?
Our Hourly Block Packages are a convenient way to budget for your company's IT requirements without committing to the ongoing monthly fees of our Fully Managed Service. We offer block packages of 10 or 20 hours which are paid for up-front. The more hours you buy, the cheaper the hourly rate we can give you. You can use the hours as-and-when you need them (minimum usage periods apply). These packages can be a combination of on-site visits, remote support incidents and telephone support.
What is your Ad-hoc service?
Instead of paying a monthly fee or pre-paying for a block of hours, you simply pay for our service as-and-when it is required. The ad-hoc service is subject to our full standard hourly rates and call-out charges, and all telephone support and remote access requests are charged on a per-unique-incident basis.
Do you provide support for very small businesses, for example, with only 1 PC?
Yes. Every client is important to us, whether they have 1 PC or 50. We tailor our service to each individual business, and have a number of clients with less than 5 computers. We offer 3 IT support options, so rest assured there is a package to suit your business, whatever its size.
Are all your staff qualified?
Yes. All our technical staff are A+, N+, MCP, MCSA or MCSE qualified.
Are you endorsed by Microsoft?
Yes. Backup is a Microsoft Certified Partner and a Microsoft Small Business Specialist.
Do you supply hardware?
Yes. We can supply PCs, laptops, servers, printers, etc. from all the major manufacturers. We are also Dell, HP and Toshiba Partners.
